Roles and Responsibilities :
- Provide high-quality Japanese translations for various IT-related documents, including software localization and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver accurate translations on time.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure consistency in formatting, grammar, and terminology across all translated materials.
- Develop expertise in specific industries or domains related to IT, such as AI or cybersecurity.
Job Requirements :
- 5-12 years of experience as a skilled Japanese translator specializing in IT/technology fields.
- Strong proficiency in both written and spoken Japanese (N3 level or higher).
- Experience working with CAT tools like MemoQ or SDL Trados is an asset.
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation Studies, or a related field.
