Summary

We are seeking an experienced Neo4j Team Lead and Consultant to spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of graph database solutions within our IT Services division. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between complex data architecture and business objectives, leading a specialized team to deliver high-performance graph database strategies. This position is critical for organizations leveraging graph technology to solve intricate data relationship challenges, requiring a deep understanding of data modeling principles, system performance tuning, and the full software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring 5 to 7 years of specialized experience, driving innovation and technical excellence while mentoring team members in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

- Architect and design scalable graph database models, ensuring alignment with enterprise data strategies and business requirements.

- Lead the integration of Neo4j solutions into existing software ecosystems, managing the full lifecycle from concept to deployment.

- Optimize database performance by refining Cypher queries, tuning system configurations, and resolving bottlenecks to ensure high availability and speed.

- Direct the development team through Agile methodologies, facilitating sprint planning, code reviews, and technical decision-making.

- Conduct comprehensive data modeling sessions to define relationships, nodes, and properties that accurately reflect business logic.





- Provide expert consultation on graph database design patterns, best practices, and scalability considerations to internal and external stakeholders.

- Oversee the implementation of robust security protocols and data governance standards within the graph setting.

- Mentor junior developers and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical growth within the Neo4j practice.

RequirementsRequirements:

- Possess 5 to 7 years of professional experience in software development, with a significant focus on graph database technologies.

- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Neo4j, including deep knowledge of the Cypher query language and graph query optimization techniques.

- Show strong expertise in data modeling specifically for graph structures, with the ability to translate complex business rules into efficient database schemas.

- Proven track record in database performance tuning, capable of diagnosing and resolving latency issues in high-volume environments.

- Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and practical experience applying Agile methodologies in a team lead capacity.

- Experience in integrating graph databases with various software applications and middleware solutions.

- Ability to lead technical teams, provide strategic direction, and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
