Role Description The AI Observability Engineer will design, build,



and maintain observability solutions for AI systems, with a focus on multi-turn agents, LLM-based applications, and retrieval-augmented workflows. In this remote contract role, responsibilities include instrumenting AI pipelines, defining and implementing metrics, logs, and traces, and creating dashboards and alerting for model performance, reliability, and user outcomes. The engineer will reconstruct and analyze full agent sessions, identify failure patterns, and convert them into safeguards and improvements across Turn3, hypernear, and customer environments. Day-to-day work involves collaborating with product, data, and platform teams to integrate observability into production deployments, optimizing infrastructure across clouds, and contributing to internal best practices for AI safety, quality, and monitoring.
