To evaluate the effectiveness of Topical Oxygen Therapy (TOT) and combined regenerative therapy (local insulin injection plus autologous Platelet Rich Fibrin [PRF]), alone and in combination, in improving wound healing and long-term clinical outcomes among patients with diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs). The study will assess their effects on time to complete wound closure, ulcer recurrence, amputation, quality of life, safety, and cost-effectiveness over a 12-month follow-up period. This will be a 4 treatment arm, open label, 8 centre trial, with a net sample size of 252 patients. Patients will be followed up for a year from baseline.

Responsibilities

The Non-medical project research scientist will serve as the Central Scientific and Program Coordinator and will support the PI & Co-PI and study teams across all 8 participating centers in the overall coordination and conduct of the study. The responsibilities will include:

• -Conducting literature searches, summarizing medical evidence in the area of study.
• Assisting Investigators in the preparation,



compilation, and maintenance of essential study documents.
• -Coordinating regulatory and ethical requirements, including IEC submissions, regulatory correspondence, and CTRI registration.
• -Assisting with study budget management and monitoring fund utilization.
• Support the reporting, documentation and causality assessment of adverse events.
• Overseeing adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Supervising data management and monitoring data quality and completeness across study sites.
