About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and execution-focused Social Media Operations Trainee who can ensure that our content is published correctly, on time, and distributed across the right platforms and communities.
This is not primarily a social media strategy or influencer role.
Your responsibility will be to make sure that once content is ready, it actually gets published, distributed, tracked, and completed without constant follow-ups.
You may work across multiple social media accounts and brands managed by our team.
What You’ll Do
• Publish posts, reels, carousels, stories, job posts and other content according to the content calendar.
• Manage publishing across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and other assigned channels.
• Ensure every post goes live at the correct date and time.
• Check captions, links, tags, hashtags, thumbnails and creatives before publishing.
• Share relevant content in appropriate WhatsApp, Facebook, LinkedIn and other communities/groups.
• Maintain proper records of what has been published and where it has been distributed.
• Update daily content and publishing trackers.
• Coordinate with content, video, design and other team members when assets are missing or delayed.
• Follow up internally to make sure scheduled content does not get missed.
• Create or modify simple social media graphics whenever required using tools such as Figma, Canva or ChatGPT.
• Resize or adapt existing creatives for different social media platforms.
• Make minor caption or copy changes when necessary.
• Monitor basic comments, messages or responses and escalate key ones to the relevant team.
• Maintain organized folders for creatives, captions, links and published content.
• Share daily/weekly status reports with the team.
