Job Summary

Role & responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping for international clients across the UK, US, and Europe.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure accuracy of general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and month/year-end closures.
- Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, cash flow statements, and financial dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, and US GAAP accounting principles.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and client finance teams for reporting and compliance requirements.
- Support VAT, sales tax, payroll accounting, and statutory reporting processes.
- Lead, mentor, and review the performance and deliverables of the finance team.
- Manage international client relationships, understand business requirements, and provide financial insights.
- Drive process improvement, automation, ERP/accounting system optimization, and scalable finance processes.
- US / UK taxation exposure will be an advantage

Required Qualifications & Skills

- CA / CPA / ACCA / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Prior experience handling international clients (UK, US, Europe)

- Strong understanding of IFRS, UK GAAP, and/or US GAAP.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Zoho Books, Sage, or similar ERPs.
- Advanced proficiency in MS-Excel and financial analysis.
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a startup environment with ownership and agility.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
- US / UK taxation exposure will be an advantage
