Job Descriptions : The Operation Manager / Asst. Manager will be responsible and carry out the following activities and the ability to work collaboratively in a quick-paced automobile industry environment :
· Identify the manpower requirement and obtain management approval.
· Prepare eligibility criteria (education, experience, and competencies) of candidates.
· Prefer candidates with experience in manpower outsourcing, staffing, or facility management.
· Assess experience in managing multiple client locations across the state.
· Evaluate knowledge of state (Karnataka) specific labor laws, statutory compliance (ESI, PF, CLRA, Minimum Wages, etc.), and contract management.
· Assess ability to manage large field workforce and site supervisors.
· Evaluate client relationship management and service delivery experience.
· Review experience in recruitment planning, deployment, attendance, and workforce retention.
· Having leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
· Conduct competency-based and technical interviews.
· Verify employment history, references, police verification and background of candidates.
· Assess proficiency in MIS reporting and workforce management systems.
· Compare shortlisted candidates using a standardized evaluation matrix.
· Select the most suitable candidate based on qualifications, experience, and organizational requirements.
· Ensure timely closure of vacancies while maintaining quality hiring standards.
· Build and maintain a talent pipeline for critical positions.
· Obtain final approval from Senior Management.
· Issue the appointment letter and complete onboarding and induction.
