Role Description The Warehouse Incharge is a full time, hybrid role based in Gurugram, with some flexibility for work from home as business needs allow. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, while maintaining accurate inventory records.
The Warehouse
Incharge will plan and coordinate stock movements, monitor inventory levels, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards across the warehouse. Daily tasks include supervising warehouse staff, optimizing space utilization, verifying documentation for inbound and outbound shipments, and collaborating with logistics and operations teams to meet service level commitments.
The role also involves continuous improvement of warehouse processes, reporting key metrics to management, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in stock control and inventory control to maintain accurate records and minimize stock variances.
- Strong inventory management and operations management skills to oversee day-to-day warehouse activities and optimize workflows.
- Experience with forklift operation and other material handling equipment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS), spreadsheets, and basic ERP tools for tracking and reporting.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Effective communication and team leadership capabilities to supervise staff and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and compliance requirements, including handling and storage best practices.
- Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse supervision; a diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is an advantage.
