About the Role

Soulflower is looking for a highly creative and hands-on Videographer & Photographer who can bring our products, people and brand stories to life through compelling visual content.

You will be responsible for conceptualising, shooting and delivering high-quality photos and videos for D2C, social media, performance marketing, ecommerce, campaigns and brand communication.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands both creative storytelling and commercial content, someone who can turn a brief into scroll-stopping content that looks beautiful and performs.

Key Responsibilities

Videography

- Shoot videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Meta Ads and other digital platforms.
- Create product demos, tutorials, how-to videos, texture shoots, testimonials, real life shoots, UGC-style content and campaign films.
- Translate creative briefs and concepts into engaging visual stories.
- Capture behind-the-scenes, events, launches and brand moments when required.
- Experiment with different formats, hooks, transitions and visual storytelling techniques.
- Understand what makes content scroll-stopping and performance-oriented.
- Must be able to work on Sundays, Holidays & Events, if and when required

Photography

- Plan and execute product, lifestyle, campaign, texture shots, model shots, real-life shoots and social-media photography.
- Shoot products for ecommerce, marketplaces, website and digital campaigns.
- Create high-quality pack shots, product-in-use images, textures, ingredients and lifestyle visuals.
- Work with models, creators, influencers and internal teams during shoots.
- Manage lighting, composition, backgrounds, props and overall visual aesthetics.
- Ensure consistency with Soulflower's brand guidelines and visual identity.
- Must be able to work on Sundays, Holidays & Events, if and when required

Pre-Production & Execution

- Coordinate with Creative,



Marketing, Performance Marketing and Product teams to understand content requirements.
- Participate in brainstorming, mood-boarding and shoot planning.
- Create shot lists and manage shoot requirements.
- Arrange + Manage props, locations, models, equipment and other production requirements.
- Independently manage shoots from setup to final delivery.

Post-Production

- Edit videos for different platforms, formats and aspect ratios.
- Perform colour correction, basic sound design, transitions and motion graphics where required.
- Retouch and edit photographs to brand standards.
- Deliver multiple creative variations for performance marketing and social media.
- Maintain organised libraries of raw footage, photographs and final assets.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

- Has 2–5 years of hands-on experience in photography and videography.
- Should able to work on Sunday and Festive when required.
- Has worked with D2C, Beauty, Personal Care, Wellness, FMCG, Lifestyle or Consumer Brands.
- Has a strong portfolio demonstrating both photography and short-form video.
- Understands social-first content and digital advertising creatives.
- Has a strong eye for composition,



lighting, colour and aesthetics.
- Can independently handle a shoot from concept to final output.
- Understands how to make products look desirable and premium on camera.
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced D2C environment with multiple briefs and deadlines.
- Is proactive, experimental and willing to test new content formats.
- Can balance brand aesthetics with performance marketing requirements.
