Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor Political role based in Panaji.

The Video Editor

Political will be responsible for editing and assembling video content for political campaigns, including advertisements, social media clips, and long-form narrative pieces. The role involves collaborating closely with strategists, creative directors, and copywriters to translate political messaging and campaign strategies into compelling visual stories. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and managing footage, syncing audio, applying graphics and motion elements, color correction, and ensuring brand and message consistency across all video assets.





The Video Editor

Political will also adapt content for multiple platforms and formats, meet fast-paced deadlines, and maintain high production standards that align with the agency’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

- Strong video editing skills using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Ability to create and refine political narrative through visual storytelling, pacing, and sound design.
- Experience preparing video content for digital, social media, and broadcast formats, including aspect ratios and platform-specific requirements.
- Working knowledge of motion graphics and basic visual effects (e.g., Adobe After Effects or similar tools).
- Understanding of political communication, campaign messaging, and current affairs, with sensitivity to diverse audiences.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to incorporate feedback from multidisciplinary teams under tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail in file organization, version control, and quality assurance across multiple projects.
- Relevant experience in video editing for political, advocacy, news, or issue-based campaigns; agency experience is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field, or equivalent skilled experience.
- Willingness to work on-site in Panaji and maintain schedule flexibility during peak campaign periods.
