We are looking for a

VP – Engineering to lead the engineering function, technology strategy, architecture, and delivery across multiple teams and high-impact projects. The ideal candidate should combine strong engineering leadership, hands-on technical expertise, architecture, delivery management, and stakeholder management experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor Frontend, Backend, DevOps, Technical Leads, Architects, and Engineering Managers.

- Define and execute engineering and technology strategy aligned with business, product, and client objectives.

- Drive engineering culture, KPIs, performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Provide technical leadership across MERN, Python, AI/ML, Cloud, DevOps, APIs, databases, and contemporary technology stacks.

- Drive architecture, system design, scalability, performance, reliability, security, and technology modernization.

- Lead modernization initiatives, including microservices adoption, technical debt reduction, automation, and cloud-native solutions.

- Own end-to-end engineering delivery across multiple high-impact projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and business objectives are met.

- Drive release governance, CI/CD, automated testing, quality gates, and production stability.

- Ensure strong application security, vulnerability management, secure coding practices, and data protection.

- Drive engineering efficiency and cost optimization across cloud, infrastructure, APIs, and technology platforms.





- Manage technical escalations and lead client-facing technical discussions and senior stakeholder engagements.

- Collaborate with Product, Project Management, Design, QA, DevOps, Operations, Business, and Senior Leadership teams.

- Build and scale high-performing engineering teams through mentoring, coaching, upskilling, and reskilling.

- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, including AI/GenAI, cloud-native technologies, automation, and modern development frameworks.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- 12+ years of experience in software engineering and technology leadership.

- Strong career progression from Software Developer/Engineer to senior technical leadership.

- Proven experience leading large-scale, multi-disciplinary engineering teams.

- Strong hands-on development experience with solid expertise in software architecture and system design.

- Strong exposure to Frontend, Backend, MERN, Python, APIs, databases, Cloud, and DevOps.

- Strong understanding of scalable architecture, microservices, performance, reliability, security, and modern engineering practices.

- Proven experience in end-to-end project delivery, technology modernization, and engineering transformation.

- Strong experience in client management, stakeholder communication, and technical leadership.

- Experience in team building, mentoring, coaching, upskilling, and reskilling engineering teams.

- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Exposure to AI/GenAI and emerging technologies will be an added advantage.
