Role Description The Vendor Manager – Interior Fit-out (up to 7 LPA) will oversee end-to-end vendor management for interior projects, ensuring timely procurement of materials and services aligned with project specifications and budgets. This full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai involves identifying and onboarding vendors, negotiating contracts and pricing, monitoring vendor performance, and maintaining strong relationships to support ongoing and future projects.

The Vendor

Manager will coordinate with project managers, designers, and procurement teams to ensure smooth execution of fit-out work, resolve issues related to quality, timelines, and compliance, and maintain accurate vendor records and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include market research for new vendors, evaluating proposals,



managing purchase orders, and supporting continuous improvement in vendor processes and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Procurement and vendor management skills, including experience in sourcing materials and services for interior or construction projects.
- Candidates should possess solid Contract Negotiation and Contract Management skills to handle pricing discussions, agreements, and performance terms effectively.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders, and to document requirements and outcomes clearly.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to evaluate vendor performance, compare quotations, monitor costs, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Relevant experience in interior fit-out, construction, or related industries, especially in vendor or supply chain roles, is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, civil engineering, interior design, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and handle quick-paced environments with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of basic contract law, budgeting, and MS Office or project management tools will be an added advantage.
