We are looking for an experienced US Audit / A&A; professional with robust exposure to US GAAP and US GAAS and experience working with Commercial Real Estate clients.

The role involves handling audit engagements, financial statement preparation and analysis, internal control evaluation, US GAAP/US GAAS research, and coordination with US-based teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform and assist with US GAAP and US GAAS audits, reviews and compilations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements.
- Evaluate internal controls and identify relevant audit issues.
- Participate in audit planning, fieldwork and wrap-up activities.
- Perform US GAAP and US GAAS research independently.
- Coordinate audit requests and ensure timely completion of engagements.
- Prepare appropriate audit documentation and working papers.
- Communicate with supervisors, managers and US-based teams regarding engagement status and client matters.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.




- Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines and quality requirements.
- Build effective working relationships with clients and internal teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- CA / CPA (or CPA in process).
- 35 years of experience in a public accounting firm / US auditing or accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and US GAAS.
- Hands-on experience in US Audit / A&A;.
- Experience in Commercial Real Estate is required.
- Strong financial statement analysis and audit skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Knowledge of CaseWare, CaseView or IDEA is an advantage.
- Ability to work according to US deadlines and during busy-season periods.
