Job Overview

Matrix Research Work is urgently hiring a Team Leader – Academic Research Sales for our Mathura location.

We are looking for an experienced and target-oriented sales professional who can lead a team, manage academic research leads, drive conversions, and achieve monthly sales targets.

Candidates with experience in academic research, education, EdTech, thesis/dissertation services, publication services, or related sales will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, manage, and motivate the Academic Research Sales team.
- Set and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Allocate leads to sales executives and monitor follow-ups.
- Track individual and team sales performance.
- Handle and guide the team in dealing with students, research scholars, and academic clients.
- Assist sales executives with high-value and challenging leads.
- Improve lead conversion and overall team performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Train new team members on sales processes and client communication.
- Monitor calls, follow-ups, conversions, and pending leads.
- Prepare daily and monthly sales performance reports.
- Coordinate with the academic and operations teams for smooth client onboarding.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and help resolve client concerns.
- Implement strategies to achieve monthly revenue and sales targets.

Required Skills




- 2–4 years of experience in sales and team management.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Good command of Hindi and English.
- Robust lead-conversion and follow-up skills.
- Target-oriented and performance-driven approach.
- Ability to train and motivate sales executives.
- Basic knowledge of CRM, Google Sheets, WhatsApp, and sales tracking tools.
- Ability to work from our Mathura office.
