We are looking for an experienced and energetic Senior Travel Consultant to join our growing team in Kochi.

Job Summary The Senior Travel Consultant will be responsible for handling customer travel requirements, designing suitable travel packages, managing domestic and international flight bookings, converting enquiries into confirmed bookings, and ensuring a smooth customer experience from initial enquiry through trip completion.

The ideal candidate should have strong destination knowledge, hands-on flight ticketing experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to convert enquiries into sales.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle customer enquiries through phone, WhatsApp, email, and other channels.
- Understand customer travel requirements, preferences, budgets, and expectations.
- Design and recommend customized domestic and international holiday packages.
- Prepare detailed itineraries and quotations.
- Handle domestic and international flight bookings and ticketing.
- Search and recommend suitable flight options based on fare, routing, baggage, and customer requirements.
- Handle flight reservations, ticket issuance, reissuance, cancellations, refunds, and schedule changes.




- Coordinate with airlines and ticketing partners for booking-related requirements.
- Knowledge of airline reservation systems/GDS will be an advantage.
- Coordinate with hotels, DMCs, transport providers, and other travel partners.
- Follow up with prospective customers and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive rates and suitable options.
- Manage complete travel arrangements including flights, hotels, transfers, sightseeing, and activities.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Ensure accurate booking documentation and timely collection of customer payments.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of trips.
- Handle customer queries and travel-related issues professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, bookings, ticketing, and sales performance.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets.

Requirements
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in travel consulting, ticketing, holiday sales, or tour operations.
- Hands-on experience in domestic and international flight booking and ticketing.
- Good understanding of airline fares, ticketing rules, cancellations, refunds, and reissuance.
- Experience with GDS/airline reservation systems such as Amadeus, Galileo,



or Sabre will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations.
- Experience in preparing customized travel itineraries and holiday packages.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to independently handle multiple customer enquiries and bookings.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, WhatsApp, and travel-related systems.
- Experience handling premium holidays and international customers will be an added advantage.
