The Role

Your main specialism will be print, embroidery and surface development, but you will also be expected to contribute creatively to garment design and collection development.

You will help turn creative concepts and references into beautiful, commercially viable Indian ethnic-wear garments.

This will include working with our design team, manufacturers, embroidery teams, karigars and suppliers to develop and refine garments.

- Create textile stories that complement the silhouette, styling and overall collection concept.
- Experiment with new techniques, materials and combinations to create distinctive designs.

Fashion & Garment Development
- Work closely with our fashion designers during the development of new Indian ethnic-wear collections.
- Contribute ideas around silhouettes, fabrics, trims, embroidery, print, embellishment and garment detailing.
- Help translate mood boards, references and concepts into complete garments.
- Ensure textile and embroidery designs work cohesively with the garment silhouette.
- Assist with garment development, sampling and refinement.

- Work closely with the wider fashion design team.
- Share your textile, print and embroidery knowledge with other designers.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and deadlines.
- Help improve how the team approaches textile and surface development.
- As the team grows, take on greater responsibility for guiding and coordinating textile and surface development within the design team.

Previous formal management experience is not essential. We are looking for someone with the ability, confidence and ambition to grow into a leadership role.

- Print development
- Embroidery artwork
- Surface embellishment
- Motif and placement development
- Colourways

We're looking for someone who is creative, curious, hands-on and commercially minded.

You should be confident enough to bring your own ideas to the table rather than simply waiting for instructions.

Your strongest skill may be embroidery, print or surface design, but you should also have a genuine interest in fashion and garment development.

Most importantly, we want someone who can grow with the business, someone who can take ownership of their work today and potentially help guide and support other designers as our team develops.

Why Join Heera Ventures Group?

This is an opportunity to become part of a growing international fashion business from an early stage.

You will have genuine creative input into the development of our collections and will work across the full journey from concept to final garment.

You will also have the opportunity to work directly with an international team and gain exposure to the development of a contemporary Indian fashion brand for international markets.

As the company and design team grow, there will be opportunities for increased creative responsibility and leadership.

Please send your CV and portfolio to [email protected]

Your portfolio must demonstrate professional experience in Indian ethnic wear and should clearly show your experience across textile design, print, embroidery, surface development and/or garment development.
