We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Techno-Commercial In-charge to lead our Maintenance & Procurement departments for our coal mining operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in heavy earth-moving machinery, combined with sharp commercial and negotiation skills.

You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and availability of our heavy equipment fleet, including tippers, excavators, cranes, roller, compactors, dozers, graders and other mining & construction equipment . You'll also manage the entire supply chain for spare parts and consumables, ensuring we have the right parts at the right time and at the best cost.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintenance Management: Lead the maintenance team, overseeing all preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment life.
- Procurement & Inventory: Manage the end-to-end procurement process for all spare parts and consumables.



Source and negotiate with vendors to secure high-quality parts at competitive prices. Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts while controlling costs.
- Techno-Commercial Functions: Prepare and manage the departmental budget for maintenance and procurement. Conduct cost-benefit analyses for repairs and acquisitions. Generate technical and commercial reports for senior management on fleet performance and cost savings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar role within the mining or heavy machinery industry .
- In-depth technical knowledge of heavy earth-moving equipment.
- Proven expertise in negotiation and vendor management .
- Robust financial acumen and experience with budget management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP for maintenance management and inventory software.
