Role Description The Teacher Champion is a full-time, in office role based in Faridabad, focused on supporting high-quality teaching and learning in partner schools and communities. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, mentoring and supporting teachers, and facilitating training sessions or workshops to strengthen classroom practices. The role involves collaborating with school leaders and staff to implement whole school transformation initiatives,
supporting early childhood education programs, and contributing to local language content development where needed.
The Teacher
Champion will also document classroom practices, track learner progress, provide feedback to stakeholders, and participate in community engagement and CSR-related education activities.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with demonstrated classroom experience across relevant age groups.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum alignment to ensure engaging, outcome-focused learning experiences.
- Excellent Communication skills for working with children, families, teachers, and community partners.
- Experience in Training, coaching, or mentoring educators to improve pedagogical practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; formal teacher training or certification is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Faridabad, collaborate within diverse teams, and adapt to varied school and community contexts.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and documentation; familiarity with local languages and community-based education is a plus.
- Commitment to inclusive, child-centered education and willingness to travel locally for school and community visits as needed.
