Role Description The Speech & Audio AI Evaluation Specialist – International Voice | GCP | Captive/GCC/In-house is a full time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role focuses on evaluating and improving speech and audio models used for international voice applications, with a particular emphasis on quality, clarity, and user experience across multiple accents and languages.

Day-to-day responsibilities include listening to and analyzing audio samples, annotating and labeling speech data, assessing AI-generated voice outputs, and documenting detailed feedback to guide model refinement. The specialist will collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams, helping design evaluation frameworks, test cases, and performance metrics for speech and audio solutions on GCP and other platforms.



The role also involves preparing concise reports, maintaining evaluation standards, and supporting the development of best practices for audio processing and voice-based interfaces.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in audio production, with skills in Live Sound and Audio Engineering to evaluate real-world voice quality and technical performance.
- Proficiency in Audio Editing and familiarity with Audio Visual (AV) Systems to handle, review, and optimize speech and audio datasets.
- Comfort with Social Media platforms and trends to understand user-facing voice experiences and content formats.
- Experience working with or around speech recognition, text-to-speech, or voice assistant technologies; exposure to GCP or similar cloud platforms is preferred.
- Ability to perform careful listening, detailed annotation, and structured evaluation of large volumes of audio data with high attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including clear documentation of findings and collaborative work with cross-functional technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical mindset, familiarity with basic data analysis tools, and ability to work on-site in Gurugram in a structured, process-driven environment.
