Solar Installation & Site Supervisor – Solar PV

We are looking for an experienced Solar Installation & Site Supervisor / Solar Technician who can independently handle practical solar PV installation work and supervise a small site team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and carry out solar PV installation at project sites.
- Install and align rooftop and ground-mounted solar mounting structures.
- Handle rails, purlins, clamps, fasteners, module installation and proper torque tightening.
- Perform DC cable routing, MC4 termination and string connections.
- Install and connect inverters, ACDB, DCDB, isolators and protection devices.
- Carry out AC/DC cable laying, termination and cable management.
- Handle earthing and lightning protection systems.
- Perform testing using multimeter, clamp meter and insulation/megger testing.
- Assist with inverter commissioning and system troubleshooting.
- Identify and rectify common installation and electrical faults.
- Read basic electrical drawings/SLDs and follow project specifications.
- Check materials required at site and coordinate with the project team.
- Maintain site safety and ensure proper quality of installation.
- Supervise electricians, technicians and helpers and ensure work is completed on schedule.

Requirements:





- 3–5 years of practical experience in solar PV installation preferred.
- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical or related trade preferred.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of both mechanical mounting structure work and electrical solar installation.
- Experience with rooftop and/or ground-mounted solar projects.
- Knowledge of inverter installation, DC/AC systems, earthing, testing and commissioning.
- Ability to lead a small site team independently.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bengaluru and Karnataka.
- Valid driving licence is an advantage.

Important: Practical field experience is more important than certificates. Candidates should be comfortable doing hands-on installation work and supervising the complete installation process. Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹32,000 per month, depending on experience and practical skills.
