About Staircase Academy

Staircase Academy is a coaching institute founded by two Teach For India Fellows. We help school students build strong academic foundations through structured classroom teaching, practice, assessments, and individual support.

We are expanding our academic team for 2027–28 and are looking for an English & Social Science Teacher .

Role & Responsibilities

- Teach English and Social Science to school students.
- Plan and deliver structured classroom sessions.
- Prepare worksheets, assignments, tests, and revision material.
- Assess student progress and identify learning gaps.
- Provide feedback and academic support.
- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
- Contribute to curriculum and academic resource development.
- Work with the academic team to improve student learning outcomes.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Social Science, Education, Humanities, or a relevant field.
- Strong spoken and written English.




- Good subject knowledge and communication skills.
- Ability to explain concepts clearly.
- Good classroom management skills.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with relevant teaching experience are welcome to apply.

Preferred
- Experience teaching English or Social Science.
- Experience in a school, coaching institute, or tutoring environment.
- Experience teaching CBSE or GSEB students.
- Experience teaching Classes 8–12.
