Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to own and grow the organisation's organic social media presence across Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience managing social media for a D2C, beauty, personal care, or consumer brand, with strong content instincts, platform expertise, and a data-driven approach.

Responsibilities

- Own the monthly and weekly content calendar across Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant social platforms, aligned with brand campaigns, launches, and always-on content.
- Drive organic channel growth across followers, reach, engagement, and community by developing relevant and platform-native content.
- Manage day-to-day community engagement, including comments, DMs, notifications, and maintaining the right brand tone across all interactions.
- Write captions, create content briefs, coordinate shoots, edits, approvals, and publishing to ensure content is delivered on time.
- Monitor platform trends, formats, algorithm changes, competitor activity, and emerging trends.

Requirements





- 3-5 years of experience managing social media for a D2C, beauty, personal care, FMCG, or consumer brand.
- Strong hands-on experience with Instagram and YouTube, along with awareness of emerging social platforms.
- Proven experience in organic social media growth and content management.
- Strong understanding of content formats, hooks, reels, thumbnails, trends, and platform behaviour.
- Comfortable using social media analytics and performance data to make content decisions.
