Senior Marketing Specialist – Plastics & Polymer Industry

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist with strong knowledge of the plastics and polymer industry , particularly plastic moulding, injection moulding, masterbatch, utilities, and polymer raw materials .

The role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, understanding customer and market requirements, supporting business development, and building strong relationships across the plastics manufacturing ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute marketing strategies for plastic moulding and injection moulding applications.
- Develop market opportunities for masterbatch, polymer raw materials, and related products .
- Understand customer requirements across plastics processing and manufacturing industries.
- Identify potential customers and business opportunities within the injection moulding, plastic moulding, packaging, automotive, consumer products, and industrial plastics sectors.
- Conduct market research on polymer raw materials, masterbatch, plastics processing technologies, utilities, and industry trends .
- Work closely with sales and technical teams to understand product applications and customer requirements.
- Develop marketing campaigns, product presentations, technical content, and promotional materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, distributors, manufacturers, and industry stakeholders.
- Monitor competitor activities, market pricing, product developments, and industry trends.
- Generate market intelligence and prepare reports to support business decisions.
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers,



customers, and external agencies.
- Support exhibitions, trade shows, customer meetings, product launches, and other marketing initiatives.
- Track marketing activities, leads, customer engagement, and campaign performance.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Polymer Technology, Plastics Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in marketing, sales, business development, or product marketing within the plastics/polymer industry .
- Positive understanding of plastic moulding and injection moulding processes .
- Knowledge of masterbatch and polymer raw materials and their applications.
- Understanding of customer requirements in plastics processing and manufacturing.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Good analytical and market-research capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with sales, technical, production, and management teams.
