RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 1.

Strategic Supply Chain Planning

• Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies aligned with production and business goals.

- Forecast demand and plan procurement and inventory accordingly to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Drive S&OP; (Sales &
- Operations Planning) process across departments.
- Procurement &
- Supplier Management:
- Lead procurement of raw materials (polymers, additives), packing materials, consumables, and capital items.
- Identify, develop, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and SLAs with suppliers.
- Ensure supplier audits and compliance with quality and environmental standards.
- Logistics &
- Distribution:
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely receipt of materials and dispatch of finished goods to OEMs like Tata Motors, M&M;, FCA, etc.
- Optimize transportation costs, route planning, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers and freight forwarders.
- Inventory &
- Stores Management:
- Ensure effective inventory control and warehouse management using FIFO, JIT,



and lean inventory practices.
- Monitor and maintain optimum stock levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure system accuracy. 5.

Customer

Coordination &

• Delivery:
- Interface with customers for schedule adherence, order fulfilment, and dispatch planning.

- Maintain high OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery performance. Address any supply chain disruptions to ensure customer satisfaction. 6. Systems & Compliance: • Ensure accuracy of transactions and data in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent). • Maintain proper documentation for audits, compliance, and traceability. • Ensure adherence to IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards. 7. Team Leadership & Cross-functional Coordination: • Lead a cross-functional team covering planning, procurement, stores, and logistics. • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Conduct regular reviews, training, and development programs for the team.
