What is the role

We are looking for a Senior HR Executive – Business HR with 2–5 years of experience to manage day-to-day Business HR activities and partner closely with employees, managers, and business leaders. The role will be responsible for employee engagement and connections, performance management, probation and PIP management, recognition programs, exit management, onboarding experience, HR dashboards, and other employee-focused initiatives. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently, handling employee concerns, following up with stakeholders, maintaining HR data, and ensuring timely closure of HR activities.

What you would do

● Business HR & Employee Engagement: Act as the first point of contact for employees on HR-related queries, concerns, grievances, and workplace matters. Conduct regular employee connects, identify engagement and retention concerns, and partner with managers/HODs to drive timely resolutions.

● Employee Lifecycle & Onboarding: Manage the employee experience across key lifecycle stages, including HR induction, onboarding coordination, Buddy Programme, new-joiner connects, and 30/60/90/180-day feedback.

Ensure a smooth and engaging employee experience from joining through transition and exit.

● Performance Management: Coordinate end-to-end PMS activities through Keka, including KRA/KPI alignment, review cycles, employee and manager follow-ups, rating consolidation, and timely closure of performance review cycles.

● Probation & PIP Management: Monitor probation timelines, coordinate performance feedback and confirmation/extension decisions, and support managers in managing PIPs through documentation, regular review checkpoints, employee discussions, and closure.

● Employee Relations & Retention: Handle employee concerns and grievances with confidentiality and professionalism. Conduct retention conversations, identify recurring employee concerns, and work with business leaders on appropriate follow-up actions.

● Recognition & Employee Engagement: Drive employee recognition and rewards initiatives, service milestone celebrations, employee engagement activities, and other initiatives that strengthen employee experience and engagement.

● Exit & Attrition Management: Conduct exit interviews, capture employee feedback, maintain exit and attrition data, identify recurring themes, and share relevant insights with HR and business stakeholders.

● HR Reporting & Insights: Maintain accurate BHR trackers and dashboards covering employee connects, onboarding, PMS, probation, PIP, exits, recognition, and engagement. Prepare regular reports and highlight key employee trends, risks, and action items.

● HR Projects & Initiatives: Support organisation-wide HR initiatives such as employee engagement surveys, GPTW activities, training and development initiatives, Numera Academy/campus initiatives, and other HR projects as required.

● Stakeholder Management: Work closely with employees, managers, HODs, HR Operations, and other internal teams to ensure HR activities, employee concerns, and action items are followed through and closed within agreed timelines.

What you need

● Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

● 2–5 years of relevant experience in Business HR, HRBP, Employee Relations, or a similar HR role.

● Strong communication, interpersonal, stakeholder management, and employee-handling skills.

● Good understanding of the employee lifecycle, performance management, employee engagement, and HR processes.

● Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on action items.

● Solid attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a high level of confidentiality.

● Hands-on experience with HRMS/HRIS platforms; experience with Keka is an advantage.

● Ability to work independently, collaborate closely with employees and business leaders, and take ownership of HR initiatives.

Here are some bonus points:

● Schedule: Monday–Friday

● Work Type: Remote

● Benefits: Health insurance, paid leave, professional development support.

This role is more than just supporting employees—it’s an opportunity to shape the employee experience and help build a strong, people-focused organisation. If you’re ready to bring energy, ownership, empathy, and fresh ideas to a growing firm, we’d love to hear from you.

Life is short - work someplace awesome!
