Senior Electrician Location: Panchkula, Haryana Department: Engineering / Maintenance Experience: 5–10 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Retail / Warehouse / Manufacturing Salary: As per experience and company standards Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and technically sound Senior Electrician to handle electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, installation and preventive maintenance of electrical systems across stores, offices, warehouses and other company facilities. The candidate should be capable of independently diagnosing electrical faults, supervising electrical work and ensuring safe and uninterrupted operation of electrical equipment. Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.

Troubleshoot electrical faults in LT panels, DBs, MCCs, MCBs, contactors, relays and control circuits . Handle electrical wiring, cabling, installations and modifications. Maintain and troubleshoot lighting systems, power supply, sockets, switches and electrical fixtures .

Monitor and maintain electrical equipment including DG sets, UPS, transformers and stabilizers as applicable. Conduct regular inspection of electrical panels, cables, earthing and safety systems. Attend emergency electrical breakdowns and restore operations quickly.

Perform electrical installation work for new stores, offices, warehouses and other facilities. Supervise electricians/helpers and allocate daily maintenance activities. Coordinate with external electrical contractors and service agencies.

Maintain records of breakdowns, preventive maintenance and electrical consumption.



Ensure proper earthing, electrical safety and compliance with company safety procedures . Identify potential electrical hazards and take corrective action.

Maintain adequate stock of electrical spare parts and consumables. Follow all applicable electrical safety standards and company SOPs.

Required

Qualification ITI – Electrician / Electrical trade required. Diploma in Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage. Valid electrical licence/certification as applicable will be preferred.

Required Experience &

Skills 5–10 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance.

Experience in retail stores, commercial buildings, warehouses, factories or large facilities preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and maintenance. Knowledge of electrical panels, motors, DG, UPS, lighting and wiring.

Ability to read basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams. Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills. Ability to supervise junior electricians/helpers. Physically fit and willing to travel to different company locations when required.
