- Identify recent metal scrap vendors, dealers, aggregators, and sourcing channels.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and institutional sources.
- Manage the complete scrap procurement process, from sourcing and enquiry to delivery, reconciliation, and payment.
- Conduct vendor and market visits to evaluate material quality, grades, quantity, pricing, and sourcing potential.
- Coordinate with Plant and Operations teams for material inspection, grading, quality approval, and acceptance.
- Negotiate prices, quantities, quality specifications, payment terms, and pickup/logistics conditions with vendors.
- Manage vendor onboarding and compliance, including KYC, documentation, commercial evaluation, and internal approvals.
