About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, statutory compliance, and monthly closing. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and guide junior accounts staff.

Key responsibilities

- Maintain books of accounts and complete all entries accurately in Tally [ERP 9 / Prime].

- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments, customer follow-up, and ageing reports.

- Prepare bank reconciliations and reconcile vendor and customer ledgers each month.

- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), and reconcile GSTR-2B with the books.

- Calculate, deduct, deposit, and file TDS returns on time.

- Prepare monthly closing, trial balance, and MIS reports for management.

- Assist with statutory and internal audits, and provide schedules and supporting documents.

- Support preparation of the balance sheet, profit and loss account, and fixed asset register.

- Check expense claims, petty cash, and invoices for accuracy and policy compliance.





- Supervise and review the work of junior accountants and accounts assistants.

Required qualifications

- B.Com or M.Com (CA Inter, CMA Inter, or MBA Finance is an advantage).

- 4 to 8 years of hands-on accounting experience.

- Strong working knowledge of Tally and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).

- Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic income tax provisions.

- Good understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation.

Positive to have

- Experience with SAP, Busy, Zoho Books, or other ERP software.

- Exposure to inventory accounting and costing in a manufacturing or trading business.

- Experience of working with auditors and tax consultants.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
