Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP FI-CA + IS-U Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA) and SAP Industry Solution for Utilities (IS-U) .

The consultant will be responsible for understanding business requirements, configuring SAP solutions, supporting integrations, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with business and technical teams to deliver effective solutions within the SAP Utilities landscape.

Key Responsibilities

- Work on SAP FI-CA and SAP IS-U implementation, configuration, enhancements, and support activities.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into appropriate SAP solutions.
- Configure FI-CA processes including contract accounts, business partners, open items, payments, clearing, dunning, and account determination.
- Work on SAP IS-U processes and integration with FI-CA.
- Support end-to-end Utilities billing and financial processes .
- Configure and support integration between IS-U Billing/Invoicing and FI-CA .
- Handle issues related to payments, clearing, dunning, collections, refunds, and financial postings.
- Work on functional specifications, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
- Analyze production issues and provide root-cause analysis and appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, technical teams, and other SAP stakeholders.
- Prepare functional documentation and support knowledge-transfer activities.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI-CA .
- Strong experience in SAP IS-U .




- Positive understanding of FI-CA and IS-U integration .
- Experience with Utilities-specific financial processes.
- Strong knowledge of SAP configuration and troubleshooting.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.

FI-CA Expertise Candidates should have experience in areas such as:

- Contract Accounts
- Business Partner
- Open Item Management
- Payments and Clearing
- Dunning
- Collections
- Write-offs
- Refunds
- Account Determination
- Posting and Document Processing
- FI-CA integration with other SAP modules

SAP IS-U Expertise Experience in relevant IS-U processes such as:

- Business Partner / Contract Account
- Device and Technical Master Data
- Metering
- Billing
- Invoicing
- Payments
- FI-CA integration
- Utilities-specific business processes

Preferred Skills

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities .
- Exposure to SAP Fiori and SAP BTP is an advantage.
- Experience with SAP integrations and interfaces.
- Good understanding of end-to-end Utilities processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Requirement SAP FI-CA + SAP IS-U experience is mandatory. Candidates should have hands-on experience working with the integration between FI-CA and IS-U within the SAP Utilities landscape.
