About the Role

We are looking for an articulate, commercially driven, and experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to join our growing event management company in Kolkata.

The ideal candidate should have a proven background in sales, business development, client acquisition, and digital marketing, with strong communication and relationship-management skills.

Experience in weddings, hospitality, luxury brands, events, or premium consumer businesses will be preferred.

You should be comfortable meeting clients, pitching ideas, preparing quotations, negotiating commercials, closing business, and building long-term client relationships. A strong understanding of Meta Ads, Google Ads, social media marketing, CRM tools, and AI tools is also expected.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new business opportunities and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Identify and develop new clients across weddings, corporate events, social events, and other event categories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wedding clients, corporate clients, event planners, and business partners.
- Conduct client meetings and presentations.
- Understand client requirements and prepare professional proposals and quotations.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms and work towards achieving sales targets.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to generate quality leads and increase brand awareness.
- Generate and manage leads through Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), Google Ads, social media, and other digital channels.
- Coordinate with creative, social media, and digital marketing teams to execute campaigns effectively.
- Build partnerships and actively participate in networking events, exhibitions, industry events, and other business-development opportunities.




- Maintain long-term client relationships and ensure an excellent customer experience.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure systematic follow-up with leads and prospects.
- Monitor sales and marketing performance and prepare regular reports.
- Analyse campaign and sales data and recommend strategies to improve lead generation and conversions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, digital marketing practices, and emerging opportunities.

Eligibility & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience in Wedding, Hospitality, Luxury Brands, Events, or Premium Consumer Businesses will be an advantage.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and client relationship-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly articulate, confident, and professional when interacting with clients.
- Good understanding of Digital Marketing, CRM software, and Google Workspace / MS Excel.
- Working knowledge of Meta Ads and Google Ads.
- Familiarity with AI tools for marketing, research, content, and business development.

Preferred Skills
- Experience managing Meta Ads or coordinating with digital marketing agencies.
- Understanding of brand content marketing and industry trends.
- Solid networking and business-development abilities.
- Passion for photography, storytelling, events, luxury experiences, or creative industries.
- Ability to independently generate leads, develop opportunities, and convert prospects into business.
- Strong commercial understanding and target-oriented approach.
