Key Responsibilities

Design-led role focused on sketching, rendering (like key shot etc.) and surfacing softwares (like Alias or Rhino)n
Lead concept generation through sketching, mood boards, and design narratives for recent productsn
Develop 3D surface/concept models in Rhino 3D and/or Autodesk Alias to explore form, proportion, and aestheticsn
Translate user research and market insights into design concepts and product languagen
Create renders and visualizations to communicate design intent to stakeholdersn
Collaborate closely with engineering/CAD teams to hand off design intent for feasibility and detailed CAD developmentn
Build and refine design guidelines, mood boards, and trend/competitive analysisn
Present design concepts to leadership, clients, or cross-functional teamsn
Guide junior designers and review their concept workn
Stay current with materials, finishes, manufacturing processes,
and design trends relevant to the product categoryn

nRequired Skills
n
n
Solid hand-sketching and ideation skillsn
Proficiency in Rhino 3D (mandatory); working knowledge of Alias preferredn
Proficiency in rendering tools (KeyShot, V-Ray, or similar)n
Solid portfolio demonstrating concept-to-form design process (not just finished renders)n
Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and ergonomics as they relate to design decisionsn
Ability to communicate design rationale clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholdersn

Experience working alongside CAD/engineering teams on design handoffn
Exposure to Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for presentationsn
Experience in product category — e.g., consumer electronics, mobility, appliances.n
