Role Purpose

Responsible for maintaining incoming, in-process and final product quality for sheet-metal, deep-drawn, pressed and fabricated components, with hands-on involvement in inspection, defect analysis and corrective action.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct incoming, first-piece, in-process and final inspection.
- Inspect components against engineering drawings, specifications and GD&T; requirements.
- Perform dimensional inspection using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.
- Monitor quality of deep-drawing, pressing, bending, laser cutting and fabrication processes.
- Identify and analyse defects such as dimensional variation, wrinkles, cracks, thinning, distortion and surface defects.
- Coordinate with Production, Design and Tool Room for RCA and corrective actions.
- Support customer complaint investigation and closure through 8D / CAPA.
- Maintain inspection reports, quality records and control documents.
- Support Control Plans, PFMEA, PPAP/APQP and SPC activities, wherever applicable.
- Drive reduction of rejection, rework and recurring quality issues.

- MS Excel; ERP/QMS exposure preferred

Candidate Profile

- 3–5 years of relevant Quality experience in sheet metal, deep drawing, press components, fabrication or engineering manufacturing.
- Strong shop-floor exposure with positive understanding of dimensional and process quality.
- Experience in automotive, industrial equipment, agricultural machinery, compressors, filters, gas tanks or similar engineering products will be advantageous.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
