Purchase cum Inventory Executive

Experience: 2–4 Years

Department: Purchase & Inventory

Location: Pune

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the complete purchase process from Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order (PO).
- Obtain quotations from vendors, compare prices, negotiate rates and finalize suppliers.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders with correct quantity, rates, delivery schedules and payment terms.
- Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
- Follow up on pending POs, deliveries and backorders.
- Receive materials and coordinate with the warehouse team for GRN preparation.
- Ensure materials are properly inspected and recorded after receipt.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in Zoho Books/Tally/system.
- Monitor stock levels, minimum/maximum stock and reorder requirements.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile differences with system stock.
- Coordinate with Accounts for PO, GRN and invoice matching.
- Verify vendor invoices, purchase rates,



GST details and other supporting documents.
- Maintain vendor records, purchase reports and inventory reports.
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving and excess inventory and report to management.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company purchase and inventory procedures.

Required Skills:

- Good knowledge of Purchase & Inventory Management.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Tally and Zoho Books
- Knowledge of GST and purchase invoice verification.
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
