Role & responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

Lead the overall planning, design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the cement plant.

Develop project execution strategies, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

Monitor project progress and take corrective actions to ensure timely completion.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, equipment suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

. Engineering & Technology Management

Finalize plant capacity, process design, equipment specifications, and technology selection.

Review engineering drawings, layouts, and technical proposals.

Ensure adoption of best-in-class technologies for efficiency, sustainability, and operational excellence.

Procurement & Contract Management

Oversee tendering, bid evaluation, vendor selection, and contract finalization.

Manage EPC/EPCM contractors and equipment suppliers.

Monitor procurement timelines and logistics to avoid project delays.

Construction Management

Direct civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and infrastructure activities.

Ensure adherence to construction quality standards and technical specifications.

Resolve critical project issues and resource constraints.

Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)





Promote a solid safety culture across the project.

Ensure compliance with HSE standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.

Monitor safety performance and implement preventive measures.

Cost & Budget Control

Manage project budgets and cash flow requirements.

Track project expenditures and ensure optimum utilization of resources.

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and safety.

Commissioning & Plant Stabilization

Lead commissioning and performance guarantee tests.

Coordinate trial runs and plant stabilization activities.

Ensure achievement of design capacity, quality, and energy consumption parameters.

. Stakeholder Management

Build robust relationships with local communities, government agencies, investors, consultants, and contractors.

Present periodic project status reports to senior management and Board members.

Manage community and CSR-related concerns during project execution.

Team Leadership

Build and lead multidisciplinary project teams.

Mentor project managers, engineers, and site personnel.

Drive performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
