Job Overview
We are looking for a Finance Project Manager & Business Analyst with strong experience in Finance, Accounting, Financial Reporting and Project Implementation.
The role will involve working closely with Finance, IT, Operations and PMO teams to drive end-to-end implementation of business and regulatory projects across Finance.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analyst 70%
- Understand project objectives and capture business/user requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies, impact assessments and define target operating models.
- Translate Finance requirements into functional requirements for IT teams.
- Define testing strategies based on project requirements.
- Design test cases and coordinate UAT activities.
- Validate accounting entries, financial reports and testing results.
- Coordinate UAT sign-off with relevant stakeholders.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
Project Management – 30%
- Manage projects through the complete project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
- Prepare project scope, plans, schedules and project documentation.
- Coordinate with Finance, IT, Operations, PMO and other stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
- Track project progress against timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate go-live activities and provide post-go-live support.
- Present project status and key updates to senior management.
- Manage production incidents, perform root-cause analysis and support resolution.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and General Ledger.
- Positive understanding of IFRS and accounting treatment, particularly financial instruments.
- Experience with Financial Reporting / Finance processes.
- Experience in Finance Business Analysis and Project Delivery.
- Understanding of financial products and front-to-back processes is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, UAT, testing and implementation.
Preferred Qualifications
- CA / CPA preferred but not mandatory.
- PMP / Project Management certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Master's degree or equivalent.
