Role & responsibilities :

1. Creating a protected and caring environment

- Ensure children feel secure, welcomed, and valued.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and child-friendly classroom.

- Supervise children and respond appropriately to their needs.

1. Planning learning activities

- Prepare age-appropriate activities for language, numbers, art, music, movement, and general awareness.

- Use play, stories, games, songs, and hands-on activities to make learning enjoyable.

1. Supporting overall development

- Encourage children's cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and language development.

- Help children develop independence, confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

1. Teaching basic concepts and skills

- Introduce letters, sounds, numbers,



shapes, colours, patterns, and everyday concepts.

- Develop children's communication, listening, and early literacy skills.

1. Encouraging positive behaviour

- Teach sharing, cooperation, kindness, respect, and taking turns.

- Guide children in managing emotions and resolving easy conflicts.

1. Observing and assessing children

- Observe children's interests, abilities, behaviour, and developmental progress.

- Maintain appropriate records and identify areas where additional support may be needed.
