Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced PPC Engineer with hands-on experience in Plastic Injection Moulding manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, scheduling, material planning, inventory coordination, and ensuring timely production and dispatch as per customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer requirements and available capacity.
- Plan production schedules for Plastic Injection Moulding machines.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Tool Room, and Dispatch teams.
- Monitor RM availability, WIP, finished goods, and inventory levels.
- Ensure availability of raw materials, moulds, components, and other production requirements.
- Track production against planned quantities and identify deviations.
- Follow up on machine capacity, mould availability, manpower, and production constraints.
- Coordinate with the production team to achieve on-time delivery (OTD).
- Maintain PPC-related reports, MIS, production schedules, and inventory records.
- Monitor customer schedules and revise production plans based on priority changes.
- Support capacity planning and machine loading.




- Identify bottlenecks and coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments.
- Maintain proper documentation and ERP/MRP entries related to production planning.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Plastic Injection Moulding processes.
- Experience in PPC / Production Planning & Control in a plastic manufacturing setting.
- Good understanding of machine capacity, cycle time, mould changeover, production planning, and material planning.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and MS Excel.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Automotive industry experience will be an advantage.

Qualification Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

Candidate Profile

- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in PPC, preferably in Plastic Injection Moulding.
- Candidates currently working in automotive/plastic component manufacturing will be preferred.
- Candidates who can commute to Irungattukottai, Chennai are preferred.

Compensation Maximum CTC: 6.5 Lakhs per annum, depending on relevant experience and current compensation.
