Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate, qualified, and experienced PGT English Teacher to join our reputed school. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, effective classroom management abilities, and a passion for teaching and mentoring senior secondary students.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach English subject to senior secondary classes (PGT level) as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver engaging, interactive, and effective lesson plans.
- Explain English literature, grammar, language, writing skills, and communication concepts clearly.
- Prepare students for board examinations, school examinations, assignments, and assessments.
- Conduct regular tests, evaluate answer sheets, and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide additional academic support where required.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Encourage students to improve their English speaking, writing, reading, comprehension, and communication skills.
- Prepare teaching materials, worksheets, question papers, assignments, and study resources.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic performance, and progress.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate students' academic progress to parents.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school management for academic planning and activities.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, workshops, seminars,



and other academic programs.
- Stay updated with current teaching methodologies and educational practices.
- Follow school policies, academic standards, and administrative guidelines.

Eligibility & Qualifications
- B.Ed. qualification is preferred/required as per school norms.
- Candidates with relevant PGT English teaching experience will be preferred.
- Freshers with strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills may also be considered.
- Good knowledge of English grammar, literature, comprehension, writing, and communication skills.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Good classroom management and student-handling skills.
- Ability to use technology and digital teaching tools effectively.
