nAbout the Prospect
nSKF Industrial Limited is seeking a highly motivated CA Industrial Trainee to join its Finance & Accounting team. This role offers an excellent prospect to gain practical exposure to end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) processes in a listed manufacturing company, providing valuable experience in financial accounting, reporting, compliance, controls, and month-end closing activities.
nThe trainee will work closely with experienced finance specialists and gain exposure to corporate accounting practices, financial statements, audit requirements, and business finance processes.
nKey Responsibilities:
nMonth-End and Year-End Closing
n

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.n
Prepare and post journal vouchers (JVs) and adjustment entries.n
Assist in timely closure of books and adherence to reporting timelines.n
Review general ledger accounts and analyse variances.n

nAccruals,



Provisions and Accounting Entries
n
n
Prepare monthly accruals and provisions.n
Support accounting for prepaid expenses and amortisation.n
Ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting records.n
Assist in expense analysis and account reconciliations.n

nGeneral Ledger and Trial Balance Review
n
n
Monitor and analyse General Ledger transactions.n
Perform Trial Balance review and identify unusual movements.n
Support account balance validations and balance sheet substantiation.n

nFinancial Reporting
n

Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.n
Participate in financial reporting activities in compliance with Ind AS requirements.n
Support preparation of schedules and disclosures for reporting purposes.n

nBank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations

Perform bank reconciliations and follow-up on open items.n
