ROLE OVERVIEW:

As an Operations Executive, you will serve as the operational backbone of Gulmahal's Hyderabad hub. This is an on-ground, high-impact role requiring strong shop leadership, customer-facing sales capability, and end-to-end execution. You will bridge between customer orders, product quality, inventory management, and dispatch while managing on-ground florists and logistics staff.

Daily Floor

Operations &

• Team Supervision

- Supervise on-ground staff, including florists, and delivery personnel, ensuring punctuality, productivity, and order alignment.
- Plan daily workflow and prioritize urgent or scheduled orders to maintain strict delivery timelines.
- Foster a positive, & disciplined work culture in the shop by resolving internal bottlenecks and delegating tasks effectively.

2.

Sales

Assistance &

• Customer Interaction
- Handle walk-in customers, phone inquiries, and online leads with a proactive, consultative sales approach.
- Recommend personalized floral arrangements, celebration packages, and gifting add-ons to drive conversions and increase average order value.
- Manage customer feedback, resolve order discrepancies swiftly, and ensure a memorable, white-glove gifting experience.

3.

Multilingual

Communication &

• Coordination
- Communicate effortlessly across teams and stakeholders in Telugu, Hindi, and English.
- Liaise with local flower vendors, suppliers,



and transport partners in regional languages to negotiate and ensure timely supply.

4.

Quality

Control &

• Inventory Management
- Inspect incoming fresh flower shipments for quality, grade, stem health, and freshness.
- Oversee proper cold storage, hydration, and handling practices to minimize wastage and spoilage.
- Track daily stock levels of flowers, wrapping materials, ribbons, greeting cards, and packaging supplies; flag reorders before stockouts occur.

Order

Fulfillment &

• Dispatch Logistics
- Ensure every outgoing arrangement strictly adheres to Gulmahal’s aesthetic standards, packaging guidelines, and custom client notes.
- Coordinate dispatch schedules with delivery drivers or third-party logistics to ensure damage-free, on-time arrivals across Hyderabad.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Operations, Hotel Management, or any related field.
- Experience: Open to motivated fresh graduates. Prior internships or part-time experience in retail sales, event management, hospitality, or the floral industry is strongly preferred.
- Languages: Trilingual fluency in Telugu, Hindi, and English is mandatory (spoken fluency is critical for day-to-day team and vendor coordination).
- Leadership & Temperament: High ownership mindset, calm under festival/peak season pressure, and natural leadership presence to guide blue-collar staff.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with an active, energetic approach to sales and client servicing.
- Schedule Flexibility: Comfortable with standard retail operations hours (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 6 days a week with Tuesday off).
