VNR Marine is expanding its boat-building and marine projects and is looking for a Naval Architect / FRP Boat Design & Production Engineer to join our team.
Position
Naval Architect – FRP Boat Design & Production
Experience
Minimum 2 years of practical experience in FRP boat building/production.
Candidates should preferably have experience in:
- FRP hull construction and lamination
- Production supervision and quality control
- Boat design and construction drawings
- Classification Society requirements
- IRS / Class survey coordination
- Marine rules and regulations
- Technical documentation and project reports
Responsibilities
- Design and development of new FRP boats and marine craft
- Supervise FRP production, lamination and structural work
- Prepare/review GA, structural and construction drawings
- Develop FRP lamination schedules and production procedures
- Coordinate with IRS / Classification Society and statutory authorities
- Handle class inspections, surveys and technical correspondence
- Ensure construction complies with approved drawings and applicable rules
- Prepare technical documents,
QC reports and project records
- Coordinate with production teams, vendors, clients and surveyors
- Support projects from concept, design and construction through trials and delivery
Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or related field with atleast 2 years experience.
Salary
₹45,000 – ₹60,000 per month, depending on experience, technical capability and relevant project exposure.
