About Urban Parents Club
Urban Parents Club is building India's most trusted managed childcare service. We recruit, train, and support caregivers so families can hand over the most important job in their home with confidence. Our approach draws on Montessori roots, and we think caregiving should be a respected, skilled profession.
The role
You'll own how our caregivers learn. You'll train new nannies before they join a family and keep developing them once they're in a home, so every caregiver who represents Urban Parents Club is protected, skilled, and someone parents trust.
What you'll do
- Run onboarding training on child development basics, age-appropriate activities, hygiene, nutrition, sleep routines, and safety and first aid
- Teach soft skills like communicating with parents, managing boundaries, handling tantrums,
and working in someone else's home with professionalism
- Assess caregivers through practical demos and role-plays, and sign off on who is ready to start working with families
- Run refresher sessions and coach caregivers when parents raise feedback
- Build and improve training modules, checklists, and short video and visual content for caregivers with varied literacy levels
- Track caregiver progress and share insights with the ops team
You'll fit well if you
- Have 3+ years in early childhood education, nursing, Montessori teaching, or caregiver or nanny training
- Speak Kannada and Hindi comfortably (English is a plus)
- Can teach adults from blue-collar backgrounds with patience and respect
- Hold or are willing to get a first aid or CPR certification
- Care deeply about children and about the dignity of the people who look after them
Nice to have
- Montessori or ECCE certification
- Experience designing training programs at scale
