The MEP Engineer (Interior & Fitouts Works) will be responsible for the design coordination, site execution, supervision, testing, and commissioning of all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Fire Fighting / Life Safety systems for corporate interior projects from start to completion. The MEP Engineer will be able to read and coordinate combined services drawings (CSD/CLD), supervise MEP site activities, inspect installation quality, verify measurements, and ensure all building services work is executed safely and in accordance with approved shop drawings, technical specifications, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily MEP site operations, ensuring all electrical, HVAC, plumbing, ELV (data/voice/access control), and fire protection installations align with project timelines, quality benchmarks, and site safety protocols.
- Review and interpret MEP drawings, single line diagrams (SLDs), technical submittals, and specifications. Coordinate with the civil/interior team to resolve service clashes and ensure work is done strictly as per approved layouts and clearances.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks on MEP materials, piping, cabling, ducting, containment, and equipment. Ensure all installations comply with relevant local authority regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
- Coordinate and follow up with MEP subcontractors, equipment vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely material deliveries,



verify on-site material quantities, check joint measurements, and process work bills.
- Maintain detailed MEP documentation, including daily site progress logs, testing records, Request for Information (RFI) logs, as-built markup drawings, and variations/change orders.
- Lead testing, pre-commissioning, and integrated commissioning (T&C;) of all MEP systems, manage snagging/de-snagging, and facilitate seamless project handover to the client/facility team.

Skills & Competencies

- Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems (VRV/VRF, chilled water, ductwork), Electrical (HT/LT panels, UPS, lighting, power distribution), ELV/IT cabling, BMS, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm (FAS), and Public Health Engineering (PHE/Plumbing) tailored to commercial office interiors.
- Project Management & Coordination: Strong ability to sequence MEP activities with interior civil and architectural finishes, prioritize tasks, and resolve multi-service clashes. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and review of BIM/CSD models is essential.

Regulatory & Code Compliance: In-depth familiarity with national and local building codes, electrical inspectorate guidelines, fire safety norms (e.g., NBC, NFPA), and energy efficiency guidelines for commercial buildings. Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
