Role & responsibilities

Lead end-to-end talent acquisition for the steel manufacturing operations, ensuring timely availability of quality manpower across corporate, plant, technical, engineering, operations, maintenance, and support functions. The role will partner closely with business leaders to understand workforce requirements and build a sustainable talent pipeline.

- Drive end-to-end recruitment across managerial, technical, engineering, supervisory and critical plant positions.
- Partner with functional heads to understand manpower plans, skill requirements and hiring priorities.
- Develop and execute annual talent acquisition plans aligned with business and workforce requirements.
- Build talent pipelines through job portals, professional networks, employee referrals, campus hiring, recruitment agencies and industry networks.
- Manage recruitment for critical steel-sector roles including production, operations, maintenance, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, quality, projects, safety and supply chain.




- Lead lateral hiring and campus/graduate recruitment initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile MBA (HR)with 7-10 years exp in TA /Recruitment / exp in steel industry / steel / metals / manufacturing / engineering /

- Experience handling plant/manufacturing recruitment and large-scale technical hiring would be highly relevant.
- Strong understanding of the talent market in Chhattisgarh / Central India is desirable.
- Experience managing recruitment agencies and multiple hiring channels.
- Solid stakeholder-management, negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-oriented manufacturing environment.
