Job Summary

M/S HerbsForever is looking for an experienced Manager – Quality Control, Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance (PCQI) to manage quality control, food safety, manufacturing documentation and regulatory compliance activities for herbal and botanical products manufactured for Indian and international markets, particularly the United States.

The candidate should have solid practical experience in QC operations, food safety systems, US FDA requirements, FSMA, HACCP, MMR/BMR documentation, batch release and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain US FDA and FSMA compliance.
- Act as PCQI and maintain the Food Safety Plan.
- Conduct hazard analysis and preventive-control reviews.
- Maintain compliance with applicable 21 CFR 111, 21 CFR 117 and cGMP requirements.
- Implement and maintain HACCP and food-safety systems.
- Inspect, sample and review raw materials.
- Monitor in-process and finished-product quality.
- Review COAs and approve or reject batches.
- Manage OOS, deviations and CAPA.




- Prepare and maintain MMR and BMR documentation.
- Ensure proper batch review and release.
- Support compliance with FSSAI, AYUSH, APEDA and applicable export requirements.
- Maintain FSVP and US importer documentation.
- Review and approve product labels.
- Qualify and monitor suppliers.
- Maintain specifications, SOPs, traceability and recall records.
- Conduct internal audits and support regulatory, customer and third-party audits.

Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Ayurveda or related discipline.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in herbal, nutraceutical, dietary supplement, food or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- PCQI certification preferred / required.
- Strong knowledge of US FDA, 21 CFR 111/117, cGMP, FSMA, HACCP, FSVP, FSSAI and AYUSH.
- Practical experience in MMR, BMR, QC testing, batch release and regulatory documentation.
- Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
