Role Description This full-time, in office Manager – Legal Claims (Motor Accident) role is based in Hyderabad and focuses on managing motor accident claim portfolios from a legal perspective. The role involves reviewing claim files, assessing legal liability, and providing guidance on appropriate settlement strategies.

The manager will oversee legal document preparation, coordinate with external counsels, and ensure timely filing and tracking of cases in relevant courts or tribunals. Daily responsibilities include ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, analyzing judgments and legal opinions, and advising internal teams on risk mitigation. The role also includes collaborating with claims, operations,



and compliance teams, preparing reports and MIS on legal claims, and supporting process improvements to enhance claim resolution efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Law, with experience in motor accident or insurance-related legal matters.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting pleadings, notices, settlements, and case-related correspondence.
- Experience in Legal Consulting, providing legal opinions, advisory support, and guidance to internal stakeholders on claims strategy.
- Knowledge of Legal Compliance, including adherence to relevant statutes, regulations, and company policies in claims handling.
- Exposure to broader Legal Affairs, such as coordination with external counsels, court/trial management, and representation of the company’s interests.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) required; LLM or specialized qualifications in insurance or motor accident laws are an advantage.
- Prior experience in insurance, claims management, or litigation related to motor accidents is preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to ethical practices, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach to claim resolution.
