nWe're hiring an Automation QA Engineer to own quality across our Shopify apps, spanning API routes, a data sync pipeline, and a complex category tree UI. You'll define and maintain our test strategy across unit, integration, and E2E layers, and you'll be comfortable with the harder failure modes of async systems: retries, out-of-order events, and partial syncs.
nWhat you'll do

Define and evolve test strategy across unit, integration, and E2E layersn
Write unit and integration tests in TypeScript using Vitest or Jestn
Automate REST and GraphQL API testing, including edge cases and error handlingn
Test event-driven flows like Shopify webhooks, queues,



and the sync pipeline for idempotency, ordering, and retriesn
Validate complex category tree UI behaviourn
Own regression suites, bug tracking, and release readinessn
Keep CI test runs rapid, reliable, and free of flaky testsn

nWhat you bring

4+ years of QA in a TypeScript/Node.js settingn
Hands-on test authoring with Vitest or Jestn
REST and GraphQL API testing experiencen
Familiarity with Shopify apps or e-commerce platformsn
Experience testing webhooks, queues, or other async systemsn
Ownership of bug tracking and regression testingn
