We are looking for an experienced and responsible Maintenance Supervisor to manage the maintenance and upkeep of company-owned vehicles. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring vehicles remain in positive working condition, coordinating repairs and servicing, and maintaining proper service records.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the regular maintenance and servicing of company-owned vehicles.
- Inspect vehicles regularly and identify maintenance or repair requirements.
- Coordinate with mechanics, garages, and authorized service centres.
- Monitor preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely servicing.
- Handle breakdowns and coordinate necessary repairs.
- Maintain records of vehicle servicing, repairs, spare parts, and maintenance expenses.
- Ensure vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and available for operations.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance costs and help control unnecessary expenses.
- Follow up on pending repairs and minimize vehicle downtime.
- Coordinate with drivers regarding vehicle maintenance and reported issues.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in vehicle maintenance / fleet maintenance / automobile maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of basic automobile mechanics and vehicle servicing.
- Good coordination and supervision skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vehicles and maintenance activities.
- Responsible, organized, and able to work independently.
- Candidates with experience handling commercial vehicles / company fleets will be preferred.
