Job Title: Lead Backend Engineer – Payments

Location : Bangalore

Experience : 9–12 years

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable, high-performance payment systems and microservices using Golang.
- Build secure and resilient payment platforms for Pay-In, Pay-Out, Settlement, and Reconciliation.
- Architect distributed systems with high availability and low latency.
- Optimize APIs, databases, and system performance.
- Collaborate with Product, Business, and Operations teams to deliver payment solutions.
- Drive engineering best practices, observability, and production reliability.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership.

Technical Skills

- Solid expertise in Golang, Microservices, Distributed Systems, REST APIs, and Event-Driven Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including ECS/EKS, SQS/SNS, Lambda, CloudWatch, S3, and RDS.
- Strong knowledge of MongoDB,



database design, indexing, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Kafka, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, and Prometheus.

Domain Experience

- Strong experience in Payments, Banking Integrations, Payment Gateways, Settlement, Reconciliation, and high-volume transaction systems.
- Understanding of transaction lifecycle, idempotency, retries, and financial controls.

AI Experience

- - Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Gemini for code generation, refactoring, documentation, testing, and engineering productivity improvements.
