Position Title: Junior Procurement Executive / Procurement Officer

Location: Andheri East, Mumbai, Maharashtra

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month (Commensurate with experience & skill set)

Job OverviewWe are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Junior Procurement Executive to support supply chain and sourcing operations for solar energy projects.

The ideal candidate will assist in vendor sourcing, price negotiation, purchase order (PO) management, and tracking shipments for key solar components such as PV modules, solar inverters, mounting structures, balance of system (BOS) items, and cables.

Key ResponsibilitiesSourcing & Procurement:

- Coordinate purchasing activities for solar project materials (Solar Panels, Inverters, Structures, Transformers, DC/AC Cables, and BOS).
- Floating Enquiries / RFQs (Request for Quotations) to potential manufacturers and distributors.
- Prepare detailed comparative price statements (Cost Comparison Sheets) to analyze commercial terms, warranties, and delivery schedules.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers to optimize project margins.

Vendor & PO Management:

- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) accurately in ERP / Tally based on approved requisitions.
- Onboard reliable vendors and maintain an updated database of solar component manufacturers and local distributors.
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers to ensure uninterrupted material flow for project sites.

Logistics & Inventory Coordination:





- Track material dispatches from vendor warehouses to site locations in coordination with logistics providers and site project managers.
- Verify delivery challans, GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), supplier invoices, and inspect for damaged/defective consignments.
- Coordinate with the internal finance team to process timely vendor payments as per agreed credit terms.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Graduate in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical) or with relevant exp.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on procurement, sourcing, or purchase operations in the Solar Energy, EPC, Electrical, or Construction sectors.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of solar PV components, specifications, datasheets, and industry quality standards.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), MS Office, and Tally / ERP systems.
- Negotiation & Communication: Good written and verbal communication in English and Hindi; strong commercial negotiation skills.
- Location Preference: Candidates residing in or near Andheri East / Western Line with an easy daily commute will be preferred.
